 अमेरिकेचे माजी अध्यक्ष जॉन एफ. केनेडी यांचा एक गमतीदार किस्सा सांगितला जातो. केनेडी म्हणाले होते, 'माझ्यावर किती जबाबदारी आहे, हे तुमच्या लक्षात येतंय का? रिचर्ड निक्सन आणि व्हाइट हाऊस यांच्यामध्ये उभा असलेला मी एकमेव माणूस आहे.'
