५. पाचवं कडवं (Fifth Stanza)

पहिल्या थेंबाचा महिमा मोठा,
अर्थ: (पोलिओच्या) पहिल्या थेंबाचे महत्त्व खूप मोठे आहे,
Meaning: The glory of the first drop (of Polio vaccine) is immense,

प्रत्येकाच्या आयुष्याचा तोल सांभाळतो वाटा.
अर्थ: ते (लस) प्रत्येक व्यक्तीच्या जीवनाचा समतोल राखायला मदत करते.
Meaning: It helps balance the path of everyone's life.

आई-वडिलांनो, ऐका ही हाक,
अर्थ: सर्व माता-पित्यांनो, हे आवाहन (हाक) ऐका,
Meaning: All mothers and fathers, listen to this call,

वेळेवर लस द्या, नको होऊ देऊ वाक.
अर्थ: मुलांना वेळेवर लस द्या, आरोग्याच्या मार्गावर कोणतीही चूक होऊ देऊ नका.

एक लस, अनेक जीव वाचवते,
अर्थ: एक छोटी लस अनेक जीव वाचवण्याचे काम करते,

अर्थ: ती समाजात सामुदायिक सुरक्षा (Herd Immunity) पसरवते.

चला, आजच्या दिनी करू ज्ञानदान,
अर्थ: चला, आजच्या जागतिक दिनी आपण जनजागृतीचे ज्ञान (माहिती) देऊया,
Meaning: Come, on this World Day, let us impart the knowledge (information) of awareness,

लस आहे भविष्याची खरी ओळख, खरी शान.
अर्थ: लस (Vaccine) हीच आपल्या भविष्याची खरी ओळख आणि खरी शान (अभिमान) आहे.
Meaning: The vaccine is the true identity and true pride of our future.

रोगमुक्त जीवन, हाच ध्यास,
अर्थ: रोगमुक्त जीवन जगायचा, हाच आपला मुख्य उद्देश (ध्येय) आहे,
